Tap Plastics Bids Farewell to Papyrus

After just one week and as many posts, the looming specter of impending mockery on The Papyrus Virus is already an agent for typeface improvement in the Seattle area.

Behold, Tap Plastics on 9th Ave. N near Broad Street:

Before (March 27th)
Tap Plastics: Papyrus Lover
(Also visible on Google Street View.)
After (April 7th)Tap Plastics: Rid of the Papyrus Plague

Even if they did make the change only in the face of imminent ridicule at the hands of The Naked Loon, we are still glad to extend kudos to Tap Plastics for getting ahead of the curve and doing their part to eliminate this vile plague from our fair city.

Shame on you – harassing a fine local business into changing their signage type face from tastefully elegant to late model convenience store… A pox on your blog.
