I feel honored…and a little bit naked.

For the record (not that it should matter in The Loon), I graduated from Albion College (MI). The idea of going to Ohio State makes me want to barf Lake Erie water until it comes out my earballs. You read it right — earballs.

Also, landing a job with the Reporter Newspapers group was surprisingly difficult, not easy. Anyone who expects to earn a paycheck by writing should prepare for a struggle, though.

“Keep trucking” is right. I’ll shrivel up completely without reporting. I WILL work with The Bigs before they all suffer that same fate.

Until then, Bothell and Kenmore have some characters. That’s plenty to sustain a scribe.
