Forecast Monkey

As you may have guessed, the ForecastMonkey is now dead. His predictions haven’t been posted for a few months (although they continued to be tracked on TimerTrac), but today was his last prediction.

He served his purpose – artificially inflating hopes by posting amazing gains at the beginning, only to sucker-punch the world with an unending series of steady losses from then on. We can only hope that some idiot lost money following his predictions.

The ForecastMonkey’s health had been declining as steadily as his portfolio, and we now wonder if the daily suite of “endurance tests” we ran on him may have been unwise.

Nevertheless, you can’t un-waterboard a monkey, so we will be on the lookout for another simian victim to someday take his place.
