“Grizzly on” got news for you stanley tools at Home depot or lowes are one and the same,they are usually cheaper on the overhall than lowes that is a market survey history,sorry if you feel that they are not located as convenientlely as lowes for you this hasto do with logistic and traffic regulations, here in south san francisco they built a lowes and it is a nightmare to get to ……….

When asked why I don’t shop at Home Depot much, I say that other than that they are inconveniently located (farther away than Lowe’s), carry inferior products (not merely inexpensive, but *cheap* in the worst sense of the word), and the employees have bad attitudes, there is no particular reason.

Home Depot has lowered 1000 + items, but don’t kid yourself they raised 4000 others to make up for the 1000 they lowered. It was all a publicity stunt. Glad you caught one.

Yes the green utility knives are packaged, the “blade” is a picture on the cardboard, the knife has its blade stored in the handle and must be opened and loaded… doesn’t come ready to use …. bonehead.

Wow. Even if you had no need whatsoever for a second pack, you could have saved money over the single pack by buying the 2-pack and throwing the second pack in the garbage on your way out of the store!

The term “new lower price” refers to 1,000+ items in THD stores that have acquired a permanent break from a previous retail price. “Pro Packs” and “Value Packs” have been and always will be a lower price than buying the same item single. These packs are geared towards contractors and some homeowners that use these items very frequently, in order to save them money. This usage of “New lower price” is correct, and I am glad that you settled on the cheaper two pack. That is what I would have done.
